Sonia McGuinness, 47, of High Street, had inhaled 149 micrograms of alcohol per 100 milliliters – the legal limit is 35.
The crime took place on August 29 this year on Cornlow Road in Brushin.
He also admitted that taking a seat without authority is a crime in the absence of insurance and driving license.
Defense attorney Kevin McAllister told Balemina Magistrate’s Court that it was accepted that this was a “too much reading.”
The court heard that the defendant had previous relevant sentences.
He was temporarily banned from driving and the case was adjourned till November 4 for pre-conviction report.
