Corker Hill Road in Glasgow reopened to traffic in compliance with COP26 ban.

After weeks of closure, a major Southside road reopened to traffic today.

Corker Hill Road has been closed since July 21 at its junction with Maspark Boulevard and its junction with Maspark Drive.

This was to continue until mid-October, as Scottish Water was installing a new waterman.

This is in compliance with the Council’s ban on road works for the International Climate Conference to be held in the city in November this year.

Additional work is expected to be completed in the new year to complete the central water installation.
