Clyde Bank: Two people were rushed to hospital and police appealed.

Two men were taken to hospital after a hit-and-run at Clyde Bank.

The incident took place on Mildum Road around 1am on Saturday, August 28, when two men, aged 39 and 36, were hit by a Ford Fiesta.

Police confirmed that the two men were taken by ambulance to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.

West Dunbartonshire officials are now appealing for information.

Clydebank CID Detective Sergeant Barry Conory said: “Our investigation into this incident is preliminary. Stage And we are seeking the help of the public to track down the driver of the vehicle, who failed to stop after the collision.

“I will tell anyone with a dashcam or private CCTV footage of the incident, or anyone who was in the area at the time of the clash, please contact the officers.

“Any information that may help our investigation should contact Clyde Bank CID via 101, referring to Reference No. 0256 Week 28.

“Alternatively, you can call Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111 where details can be provided anonymously.”
