Chofraya: Glasgow restaurant temporarily closed due to ‘staff shortage’

A restaurant in Glasgow has temporarily closed its doors to customers due to a lack of staff.

Chofraya, located at Nelson Mandela Place, confirmed the news on Facebook yesterday.

A statement from the City Center venue said the administration had no option but to temporarily stay close to dinner until the afternoon of Thursday, September 9.

The owners said it was a “very difficult” decision and thanked consumers for their understanding.

A statement posted on Facebook yesterday reads: “Unfortunately, due to a lack of staff, we have no choice but to close our doors for lunch until Thursday, September 9th.”

“Please be assured that we have explored all avenues before making this extremely difficult decision and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.”

“As a small indication, we’ve decided to offer a 20% discount on our in-house experience on our Chauffeur until we reopen – find us on Delivery (where no code is required) or our web Click on the site and submit the code with SAVE20.

“Thank you for your understanding and we can’t wait for you to come back soon.”

Chauffeuria (Glasgow) has been contacted for comment.
