Which means it’s about to be the most delusional time of the year, as Channel 4 releases its first series screw-up image, which was filmed earlier this year at Calvin Hall in Glasgow.
Developed by STV Studios, the new series revolves around staff at a busy male prison, which is “full of humor, emotionally high stakes and equal risk for inmates and officers.”
An excellent cast includes Jamie Lee O’Donnell of Dairy Girls Fame, Line of Duty actors Faraz Ayub and Nina Susania who have starred in His Dark Materials and Killing Eva.
An ambitious three-story prison set was built inside Calvin Hall to film the play in May, making Screw one of the first series to use the space before plans to build a .9 11.9 million TV. the film Studio
It is hoped that the construction of the new studio will turn the historic building in the heart of Glasgow into a ‘creative center’.
Sarah Brown, creative director of Drama for STV Studios, said earlier: “We are incredibly lucky to have the perfect home for our new production at the famous Calvin Hall in Glasgow.
“It not only provides the spacious space we need for our three-story prison set, but also its location in downtown West Bank has made it easier and better for our team to work. It’s a nice place. ”
The screw will be available for viewing on Channel 4 and All 4 in early 2022.
