Cedric Eaton thinks he can use Greuther Forth as a platform to rediscover his goal scoring form.
The Rangers striker has completed an amazing deadline transfer to the Bundesliga side.
Eaton joined St. Galen’s Gerrard last year on a 3million deal but have managed just six goals in 41 games.
He is behind the likes of Alfredo Morellos, Kemer Roof and Fashion Scala, and sports coach Jermaine Defoe is also available.
And the Swiss forward admitted that he could not miss the opportunity to start his career with Shamrocks.
He said: “I am confident that in the fourth I will find the conditions to improve myself as much as possible.
“With the impressions of the conversation and what I’ve already heard about Fourth, it was my absolute desire to come to Fourth.”
Greuther Fürth says he has the option to buy the player, while the Gers may call him back in January.
Coach Stephen Little suggested the 24-year-old make a big impact at his new club.
“Cedric brings a lot of strength as a striker,” he said.
“We’re happy with another option on aggression.”
Managing Director Rashid Azzavi added: “Cedric is a typical penalty area striker, tall, strong and goal-oriented. He has a lot of potential and he really wants to contact us.”
