Two people were taken to hospital after a fire broke out in Bishop Briggs yesterday.
Firefighters responded to Graham Terrace after the alarm went off at about 10 p.m.
Operation Control moved three firefighting equipment to the scene.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed that two of the dead were treated for smoke inhalation before being transported to hospital by the Scottish Ambulance Service.
The fire was extinguished and the crew left the area at around 10 10.44 am.
A spokesman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were notified of the blaze at 10.03pm on Friday, August 27 at Graham Terrace, Bishop Briggs.
Prior to being transported to the hospital by the Scottish Ambulance Service, Operations Control activated three devices at the scene where two of the dead were treated for smoke inhalation.
Staff put out the fire and left the scene at 10.44pm.
