FC Barcelona has faced a number of setbacks over the past several months, but they are finally happy to welcome some good news. In addition to the club’s progress in cutting costs, their most promising young star is reportedly ready to rejoin the team after a 10-month-long injury battle.
On Tuesday, Ansoufati was finally allowed to rejoin her teammates in full training. This is the first time in almost a year that the 18-year-old has been able to train as usual, and there are high hopes that he may finally be available for Ronald Koeman after the upcoming international break.
Barcelona’s medical team is cautious, and they are slowly taking things in stride to prevent another blow to the youngsters’ recovery. Apart from Fati herself, Koeman is most anxious to advance the youth. If all goes well, he could be ready for blogging when he takes on Sevilla on September 11 or against Grenada a week later.
Fati hopes to move on from last season to where he was at the start of the season. Remember that the atmosphere in Barcelona was not the best in 2020, after the sending of Lionel Messi, now the infamous Boro Fax.
The teenager slowed down during a period when Messi was clearly out, but he suffered an unfortunate injury while playing against Real Betis in early November. He was diagnosed with a medical meniscus tear in his left leg, and was booked for surgery under Dr. Ramon Kogat.
Unfortunately, it was estimated that the 4-month-long rehabilitation process progressed when his knee began to ache and swell after surgery. It deprived him of the final stages of the season as well as Spain’s Euro 2020 campaign.
He underwent two more surgeries to try and fix the problem, but the problem persisted. According to Brand, His agent Jorge Mendes linked him to Dr. Jose Carlos Norona, an expert who counts Cristiano Ronaldo and the Portuguese national team on his client list.
The latest surgery seems to have worked, and Fati is finally seeing the end of her ordeal. Koeman would like to work with him in training for a few more sessions before he has to wait a while.
There is a lot at stake for Fati right now, as he could make or break his career in the coming weeks. He is still very young, and he has every chance of a full recovery. If not here’s a new product just for you!
